Edit Mode requires the SmittyEVENT admin key and edits the live, shared database directly — changes are visible to everyone immediately, not just this device.
Distances use real coordinates: baked directly onto an event when present, otherwise looked up once per venue (cached on this device) and compared against your device's actual GPS location. Distance labels are GPS-based now.
Downloads the current event list with every venue's looked-up coordinates baked on. Handy as a backup, or as the source file for a one-time bulk import into the live database.
Requires Edit Mode. Import CSV columns: title,type,category,state,city,venue,date,endDate,time,series,fair,lat,lon,notes,website,source (lat/lon optional — if present, they're used instead of geocoding). Imports upsert into the live database by id — existing records are updated, new ids are added, nothing is deleted.
Choose a JSON or CSV file, then tap Import Selected File.
Browser imports are local to that device. For production, publish state files under data/states/ and entitlements can control which packs load.
