Distances use real coordinates: baked directly onto an event when present, otherwise looked up once per venue (cached on this device) and compared against your device's actual GPS location. Distance labels are GPS-based now.
"Export geocoded master data" bakes every venue's looked-up coordinates directly onto its event record and downloads an updated master-events.json — replace the packaged file with it so future loads (and other devices) skip the lookup entirely, the same way casinos.json ships with coordinates already on every casino.
Import CSV columns: title,type,category,state,city,venue,date,endDate,time,series,fair,lat,lon,notes,website,source (lat/lon optional — if present, they're used instead of geocoding)
Choose a JSON or CSV file, then tap Import Selected File.
Browser imports are local to that device. For production, publish state files under data/states/ and entitlements can control which packs load.
